Pillars of Philosophy

April 10, 2017 - July 11, 2017

UpLevel Your Teaching Is a program that offers both online and in person resources for yoga teachers who are interested in continuing to hone their teaching skills, refine their practice, and improve their lives.

The Pillars of Philosophy is the third in a year-long series of Online Mentoring Programs designed to support yoga teachers in their continued education and growth. The course will focus on a single foundational text to the study and practice of yoga; this year we will be working with the Bhagavad Gita.

This course includes twelve weekly online meetings which will take place from 12pm-1pm Central Time on Mondays, April 10th thru June 26th. All meetings will be recorded in case students are unable to attend class live. A weekly study guide will be distributed prior to the call, and a follow up email will be sent each week to help students track their progress and stay connected to the material throughout the week.

In addition to the online meetings, study guide, and weekly emails, this program includes three optional 30 minute one-on-one mentoring sessions to support each student’s individual integration of the material, and a private Facebook group for the posting of questions, comments and additional resources and the opportunity to interact with our online community.

Pricing: $300 for the Full Course
Payment plans available; $100 Deposit and $100/mo for the next two months

Students will need to purchase a copy of our text for the class. We will focus on applied studies, working to gain personal insights in relationship to the material, while also understanding its context and relationship to the practice of yoga. Meditation and contemplation will be part of our work together.
