19 Nov Foundations of Yin & Restore in Morgantown, West Virginia
Are you interested in adding a new teaching skill to your tool belt? Would you like to learn how to create a safe and nurturing environment for your students to unwind from physical, mental, and emotional stress? Would you like to share Yin & Restorative Yoga as a path of mindful awareness and a gateway to inner resources?
If so, whether you are already a yoga teacher or not, join us for the Foundations of Yin & Restore weekend program!
In this training, you will learn a series of Yin Yoga poses and their modifications so you can teach to a wide range of students. You will learn some of the most accessible and supportive restorative poses to add to your yin classes or to share with your private clients. And you will learn how to combine them in powerful and effective sequences.
You will learn techniques to assist and support your students and help them move deeper through sequencing, cueing and somatic awareness. In addition to the physical benefits of the practice, you can support students as they develop witness consciousness, self compassion, and centered presence.
Throughout the weekend, you will also learn basic techniques to support your own nervous system so that you can remain steady and calm, and facilitate space for others to do the same.
