Because I began teaching yoga
in a gym, I have a special appreciation for the needs of athletes in
a yoga class. Runners, cyclists, and triathletes, while strong in their
specific sports, find their sports specific strength doesn’t always
carry over and can even make some postures very challenging.
Over the years, I’ve worked with many groups of athletes, who often
find yoga contributes a flexibility of both mind and body they carry back
into their activities. I offer workshops specific to cyclists and runners,
and have worked with Trek Travel cycling camps and cyclists such as Kevin
Livingston (formerly of US Postal and Team Telekom) and Chann McRae, former
USPro Cycling champ. I am available to work with groups, teams, or individuals
wishing to add yoga to their training routine.
